Jan 15, 2013 We are in need of 3 watertight doors to go in the bulkheads. We originally intended to buy used doors. New they are around $1600 each, and used are about $800. But winter is a good opportunity to do some inside work and save some money.
Jan 2013 More on the doors.
Jan 2013 Done with the doors. That took about twice as long as I imagined but we are very happy with the results.
Feb 2013 Before we lift the hull and add the keels we need to complete the side decks because they will help prevent the hull from twisting.
Mar 2013 After five days of work and one near death experience, our 15 ton hull is 24 inches off the ground and ready for her twin keels.
Mar 2013 Actually building a keel now. There will be two keels; one on each side. And they each have a wing.
Apr 2013 More work on the keels.
